Ridgefield places to eat logging more hours, ‘don’t have adequate staff’ to fulfill patrons’ demands

RIDGEFIELD — Andrea and Junio Filgueira posted a signal in front of their restaurant pleading with the authorities to cease COVID-19 unemployment added benefits since they mentioned it has made it harder for them to come across staff.

Junio Filgueira owns the Brick Household Wooden Fired Pizza Kitchen area and Bar, and Andrea Filgueira manages it. Equally have had to log further several hours each and every day to meet the demand whilst they are small-staffed.

“It’s gotten to the point the place we’re obtaining problems getting folks,” Andrea Filgueira said. “We really don’t have adequate staff to satisfy the needs of folks wanting to be out and eat. It’s been extremely challenging.”
