Jose began operating at George Bentley Construction in Grandfalls and then moved to Monahans when the company relocated to Monahans. He worked lots of a long time as a development foreman and supervised the building of lots of of the oilfield areas during the Permian Basin. He labored for the construction business until finally the organization dissolved. He then went to perform for Texas Lease Functions as their building superintendent until eventually he retired at the age of 65.
Jose was a correct servant of God. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He is survived by three sisters, Elpidia Flores of Odessa, Maria Camacho of El Paso, and Alicia DeLaurie of Bakersfield, CA. He is also survived by his 11 youngsters, Alicia Miller of San Antonio, Carlos Oyerbides of Lubbock and wife, Estella, Judy Ortiz of San Antonio and husband, Jesse, Joe Davila of Greenwood and wife, Johnna, Jessie Myers of Scott City, KS and spouse, George, Wanda Warner of Gaylord, MI, James Davila of Honolulu, Hi, Josie McAnally of Monahans, Julia Palma of Odessa and partner, Ruben, Bonnie Chavez of Lubbock and husband, Charles, and Bessie Whitling of Sachse and partner, Jack. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 47 good grandchildren, and 5 great fantastic grandchildren.
